Showcase Session – Murmur – Spring 16

The Fatea Showcase Sessions are designed to provide greater exposure to artists that have impressed the Fatea team. Some are already signed, others are carving a solo trail, releasing songs on their own labels, all are dedicated to their music.

Fatea Showcase Sessions are exclusively available for a three month period after which they will never be available again. The Fatea Showcase Sessions are zip files containing high quality, 256kbs, drm free, mp3s.

“Murmur” is dedicated to all acts from solo artists, through duos to bands. Each act has their own style and we hope you’ll appreciate each of their efforts. The Fatea Showcase Sessions are designed so not all of the acts come from the same genre. “Murmur” is available from February 1st to April 30th.

• Sandtimer – Different Seas
  Sandtimer are a Hampshire-based acoustic duo who play folk rock in an acoustic setting, with a focus on close vocal harmonies and intricate guitar counterpoints. Sandtimer released their debut EP, Different Seas, in late 2015 on Folkstock Records.

• Ruby & The Revelators – Best Friend
  Rising Sussex blues singer, Olivia Stevens, aka Ruby Tiger has established herself as a solo artist, with a duo and as Ruby & The Revelators, with a full blown band configuration. Last year saw them release “Live At The Tuesday Night Music Club” to critical acclaim.

• Freya Rae & Louis Bingham – Curlicue
  Multi-instrumentalists Freya Rae & Louis Bingham play a mix of traditional tunes and modern compositions. Drawing particularly on strong influences from Ireland and Brittany, Freya’s whistles, flute and clarinet blend seamlessly with Louis’ guitars, tenor banjo and cittern.
